Policies

Delivery and setup are available throughout Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties. Locations within our standard service area that are more than 25 miles from our headquarters in 29485 incur a $35 distance surcharge. Events outside our standard three-county service area may be accommodated based on availability and are subject to an extended-distance fee. Please contact us for a custom quote.

We will confirm availability within two (2) business days of receiving the party booking form. At that time, you will receive an invoice for a nonrefundable $50 deposit that will be deducted from your final balance. Your booking is not confirmed until the $50 deposit is paid. We also ask that you submit a photo and dimensions of the party space at that time. 

We accept payment via Venmo or PayPal. Payment must be made seven (7) days prior to your event. Failure to pay will result in event cancellation and forfeiture of your deposit.

While we accept cancellations and changes to guest total up to seven (7) days prior to your event, your $50 deposit and cost of additional tents are non-refundable.

A $50 damage waiver will be included on the initial invoice. All party rentals will be assessed for damage within 48 hours of your event concluding. If no damage is found, you will be refunded the $50 damage waiver via your original payment method.

To help you understand how many guests you can accommodate and the space required, the footprint of the tent and air mattress is 4’ (w) x 7’ (l). Prior to set-up, ensure the event space is clear of furniture, pets and people. We do not move furniture. Please note: glampsites will only be set up in indoor spaces. Failure to remove furnishings will result in forfeiture of damage deposit if the Moonflower team is needed to move furniture and/or is delayed in completing the setup.

Once set-up is complete, we accept no liability for any accidents, personal injuries or loss of property.

Per the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, children under the age of 15 months should not sleep on air mattresses due to the risk of suffocation. 

Bed trays and non-porous decor are washed with soap and water and then wiped down with Clorox disinfecting wipes. Air mattresses and tent covers are sanitized with Clorox disinfecting spray. All sheets and tent covers are washed in bleach on the sanitize setting. All blankets and pillow covers are washed on the hottest setting recommended and sprayed with disinfecting spray. For hygiene purposes, sleeping pillows are not provided; guests are asked to bring their own.

Moonflower Party Co. is happy to provide sleepover setups at hotels, Airbnbs, VRBOs and other vacation rental properties. Because these locations may have specific rules and access restrictions, the following policies apply:

Property Permission
It is the customer's responsibility to confirm that the property owner, host or hotel permits sleepover setups and outside rental equipment. Moonflower Party Co. is not responsible for fees, restrictions or cancellations resulting from property policies.

Address & Setup Space
The final event address, along with photos and dimensions of the actual room where the sleepover will be set up, must be provided no later than 7 days before the event. Approximately 3.5' x 6.5' of clear floor space is required per tent and mattress.

Any change to the property or event address after this deadline must be approved by Moonflower Party Co. and may be subject to additional delivery or scheduling fees. We cannot guarantee that a setup can be accommodated at a different property if the location or available space changes.

Property Access & Setup Time
Moonflower typically begins sleepover setups around 9:00 a.m. Setup times are scheduled in advance based on the customer's requested timing, property access and other events scheduled that day.

Customers staying at a hotel or vacation rental are responsible for arranging access to the property at the agreed-upon setup time. Please confirm early check-in or other access arrangements with the property before confirming your setup time with Moonflower.

If access is not available at the scheduled setup time, Moonflower cannot guarantee a later setup time that day. Any alternate setup time will be based on our remaining availability and may be subject to an additional fee.

Day-of Access
An adult must be available to provide access to the property at the scheduled setup time. The setup space must be completely cleared of furniture, personal belongings, pets and people before our arrival.

Delays caused by lack of property access, check-in restrictions, an uncleared setup area or other circumstances outside Moonflower's control may result in a shortened setup window, rescheduling based on availability or additional fees.

Location Changes
Please do not send multiple or tentative property addresses as the event location. Once the final address has been confirmed with Moonflower, that is considered the booked event location. Any subsequent change must be approved before the event.

If a new location falls outside Moonflower's standard service area, additional distance charges may apply.

Pickup
Pickup timing will be arranged in advance and must comply with the property's checkout requirements. Customers are responsible for ensuring Moonflower has access to retrieve all rental equipment at the agreed-upon pickup time.

If checkout occurs before Moonflower's scheduled pickup time, arrangements must be made in advance for continued access to the rental equipment.

If We Cannot Complete the Setup
Moonflower will make reasonable efforts to accommodate unexpected property-access issues. However, refunds will not be provided when Moonflower is ready and available to fulfill the reservation but is unable to do so because of circumstances outside our control, including lack of property access, host or hotel restrictions, an unapproved location change or inadequate setup space.

By booking a Moonflower sleepover at a hotel, Airbnb, VRBO or other rental property, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these requirements.
